My needlework store wanted to keep two of the framed pieces they'd finished for shop models so I only made it home with one of them! Will share that this weekend and the others in three months when they get to come home. Considering the discount they give me on the framing, I guess it was worth it, but I did have my heart all set to bring home Their Song. Oh well.

The UPS man came into the shop while we were there, so I asked if the Norden box was there and sure enough it was, and look what was in it:

The newest Loose Feathers!
Just for me!
Gotta love the brown shorts dude :)

I didn't get the fabric it called for, which was very pretty but when I saw the colors on Lakeside's Maritime White, that really made my heart sing! What a great project this one is!

Have a good weekend y'all!

Found your page through a friends site and I have only one question.
Why do you spend so damned much time on stuff that nobody really cares about?
I'll give it to you that your stitching is busy but couldn't you spend your time doing something more productive like cleaning the house and satifying your husband?

Oh my. Are you SERIOUS?? 'Cause if so, maybe I should stop laughing so hard and try to be offended.

wow! isn't ROY the most off handed snob you've ever heard from? how does he not know that you alread do all those things? doe he not realize that most stitchers are super moms/wives?

sounds to me like ROY had a really off day! what an a$$!!!!

those of us in the know realize how important stitching really is! :)

Oops. I didn't mean to step on toes. But my burning question really is why do you bother with so much energy involved. Taking pictures of little dogs, cross sowing those patterns and sitting around with your computer all your afternoons (from the looks of the post) writing to people that don't seem to care.

Judging from your comments here (or lack there of) I would have to say you should be glad I've even said anything! I only meant that as a woman you should have more important things like washing dishes or planting a garden rather than wasting film on photos that nobody even knows what your trying to show. They are kind of blurry don't you think?
Oh well who am I to say. Except get a job or something and pitch in with your family a bit. Life might be better for you that way.
