stitching and stashing

My friend Patti finished up her CHS Noah Stocking and seeing it inspired me to pull mine out and start on it...

It's being stitched on 40 ct. Lakeside Lentil over 2 with one strand of DMC, and so far, a very enjoyable stitch...

I needed a break from this one, all those blocks were getting monotonous!

Oh, and these arrived for my birthday earlier in the month...

they are all calling my name!

Over one week with NO SODA, yippee! AND...no snacking at work, which I think is a harder habit to break than the soft drinks. Geesh. But I am taking baby steps to a healthier me...so wish me luck!

I love the progress pics. Great job. Lucky you for the birthday pics. Also, congrats on cutting out the soda. Keep up the great work with the snack foods.

I can't wait to see your Noah stocking finished. What a fun design! I love the peacocks on leashes! You are so lucky that you have Sail Away and Mermaid Sampler. I hope you enjoy them Andrea.

Your Noah stocking is coming along very nicely... you'll be finished with it in no time at all.

Congrats on kicking the soda and snack habit... three cheers for being on the road to good health.

I've been doing WW for 3 months now and I've lost 25 lbs.so far... but have a long way to go before reaching my goal weight.

Running after two corgi puppies is helping too!

I love all of your new stash! I love Shepherd's Bush patterns and have some of them in my stash too. I just got Sail Away after stitching a model for my LNS and used the credit towards buying this beautiful pattern. I am so excited. I love the ones you picked out here too. I used to live 150 miles from Shepherd's Bush but never knew it till I moved to TX. Maybe someday I can go to a retreat that they have. I am glad we can get them in other places now.
