fear is not good

Fear Not

See this cute little Shepherd's Bush ornament I stitched? I know that I stitched it, remember doing it. Can't find it to save my life. Not in with the finished ornaments. Not in the pile of stitching yet to be made into something. And what's even more perplexing...I found another kit just like it in my stash the other day, that's what sent me on the hunt to begin with.
Ever stitch something and then completely forget what you did with it?
I'm pretty sure I must have given it away, hence, the second kit so it could be restitched. But no clue as to WHO it was given to.
Losing your mind is rather fearful, don't you think?

I stitched a LK ornament several years ago. I made it for my niece. Said niece came to my house after I stitched it. Said stitched piece disappeared that night. I was sure she had taken it. I tore up the house.
So imagine my surprise, when after 3 years and moving twice, I found it in a dresser drawer that the handles were off of. One day I decided to look and see what was in that old dresser and there it was.
I had hidden it from my niece. Little did I know I was also hiding it from myself.
Good luck in your search.

Oh my Andrea! This is much too beautiful to lose. I hope you did give it to someone so that they can enjoy it. It's so pretty!

Where ever it is, you definitely need to restitch it for your tree! I vote you get busy, but I hope you find it. Have you asked the Muttley or the Astro if THEY know where it went??

It's lovely - I do hope you find it, as it would be a shame to lose all of that work.

Hey Tricia! Don't you mean--did you ask Ground Control or Major Tom? ..lol...
Andrea, I'm still laughing about your code names! If I didn't have a puppy girl (she's 7, but I call her a puppy girl) I probably wouldn't be laughing so hard. But honestly, our Lizzie knows when I spell chicken too!
As far as losing things, I can put something down and in 5 minutes swear an alien has swooped down on this earth, entered our home and taken whatever is missing! I need gps tracking devices on everything we own!

Right now I'm frantically searching for an ornament I stitched last year for my friend Sharon but never turned it into an actual ornament. I saw it less than two weeks ago and now it's gone, poof, disappeared. I'm pretty sure I've lost my mind, it's probably hanging out with the ornament having a swell old time, LOL.

It appears that quite a few ornaments are missing - hmmmm, me thinks you need to put those kids on a leash, Andrea! MajTom & GroundControl sure get around...

Okay, first off, can't stop hearing David Bowie in my head with the Ground Control to Major Tom thing. LOL at the names!! We have to do that with The Fluffinator, too. He can spell, too.

Good luck finding your stitching, or figuring out who the lucky recipient was!!

Hi Andrea! I don't know if you remember me but we emailed a while back about FM. I just happened to find your blog. I love pugs and yours are just adorable! Hope you do one day remember who you made this for but just blame the FM. :)

Hugs ~
