winter snapperland

After seeing a friend stitch this a while back, I fell in love with it. It wasn't just the whole design, but the fabric she was using, that did it for me. So with her permission, I copied her choice...

Bent Creek Winter Snapperland series stitched on 32 ct. Raw Opalescent fabric with recommended threads....

too bad you really can't see in these pics, how sparkly the fabric is...

I only used one of the "snaps", the black one, on the horse, wasn't too fond of the other ones...

an enjoyable stitch, although it did take me a loooooooooong time to finally finish it....

the big plan is for a pillow of some sort and some Pugs that will be good and not slobber on it for me ;-)

Andrea, that is really pretty! Wow! YGG! I love it--can't wait to see what it looks like as a pillow. My spoiled Fluffinator morphs into brat mode & likes to snatch things that he knows he isn't allowed to have, so all pillows are out of his reach. It's like having a 2 year old at times!! LOL Congrats on the finish, gf!

I absolutely love this!! It's amazing how color choices, fabric and flosses, can make you love or pass on a pattern! This fabric is perfect! Beautiful piece! Congrats on your stitching finish!

How beautiful! I love the fabric, colors, everything. My own sweet Alex the puppy dog (a very old puppy dog) jumped right onto my stitching this morning. I almost swallowed my tongue. She couldn't even jump up in my chair a week ago, but let me leave my stitching out for one minute and boom she becomes superdog!

What a gorgeous finish Andrea! You did a beautiful job, and I have always wanted to try this fabric. Your piece is the first I've seen stitched on this fabric.

Another great finish,Andrea!! It looks great even if the sparkles aren't sparkling. Glad to see you're settled into your new stitching space now obviously keeping yourself quite busy with needle in hand. :)

Cute finish! I just love mine. It's currently hanging on the wall for winter. I didn't use the opalescent, just the plain, and yours looks fantastic!
