earth sampler

Oh what fun I had stitching this one!

It was very enjoyable, right down to the last stitch :-)

It was stitched on the recommended Ale linen (from Picture This Plus), I used 36 count, with the threads called for except I used GAST Cinnamon for the bunny because the Sable I had was just Ugly, (if you look ugly up in the dictionary, I'm pretty sure you'll see my skein of Sable)!

So what is it with this designer anyway? I just love all of her designs! Not to mention, she's cute as a button! She just doesn't know how to put out something I don't like!

Astro says "Hey y'all! Have a great weekend!"

And you know, with the look on his face, you'd better do it :-)

LOL at that pic of Astro!! He is too cute.

YGG on the finish!!! It is super cute. I am addicted to Lisa's designs. They're like candy... you can't stop with just one. I'm still chuckling over the comment about the skein of Sable!

Super finish Andrea. Looks like I am back online again for a bit with this short circuit in our connection that we are having on and off. Astro looks great as usual and doing some interesting footwork while staying focused on the camera. : ))Well I went and looked up ugly and could not find your skein of Sable.: ))

That's a great finish, Andrea. I agree with you - love Lisa's designs and am waiting patiently for the new Sampler Sisters! I wish I could just get it the instant it comes out!

This does look like a fun sampler, and what a gorgeous job you did of stitching. But, that's no surprise you always do Andrea. I also love The Primitive Needle. Have you seen her latest one? It's terrific! I'm getting ready to start Cape Cod Girls at the end of this month. Anyway, your sampler is just beautiful!

If Astro says have a good weekend then that's what I'll do. He looks like a big boy.

I love to stitch! I used to do it all the time, but my season in life at the moment calls me in other directions. I can't wait for the day I have the time to pick it back up again. I love, love all these patterns, especially that strawberry one. Do you make them yourself?

That Astro is just the cutest thing!!! Great finish with the Earth Sampler. It's definitely on my ever growing list of Lisa's "Must Stitch" designs. Great job!

Love it! Congrats on the beautiful finish. I've been trying to figure out what to substitute that Sable with, because mine is horrid. I don't have the GAST cinnamon, so I'll have to see what I have in my stash that might work. Glad I wasn't the only one with this problem. I do just love her designs too!

Beautiful finish - only thing better is framed so can't wait to see what you find. This is one of my favorite recent samplers to come out - I'm trying really hard to stitch what I have and just live vicariously through you and your stash.
