finishing by faye

Last month I sent Faye a few things for her to work her magic on, and here they are, in no particular order..

"Boo" design by Blackbird Designs, I think it is in the Trix or Treats booklet...

This one is also a design by BBD, called Morning Star...

Faye included a beautiful skein of hand-dyed floss inside the box :)

Below is a bag she made out of my finished BBD Gathering Basket....love it!

A really, really old Ewe & Eye & Friends finish, Pea Pod scissor fob, or something like that....my oldest daughter claimed this one when it arrived home...

One of three designs from a chart from Heartstring Samplery...

Heart in Hand Grand Old Flag...

Little House Needleworks Peace ornament...

A little freebie from Pineberry Lane...

Boo from Lilybet Designs...if you would like to see the inside of this little thing, look here, Faye posted a few pics of it on her blog :)

Design by Lizzie Kate, cannot recall name of chart...

Thanks for your work Faye!! Love everything!

Oh Faye's finishes are so wonderful. Each unique and charming in its own way. That said - your stitching is extraordinary too! I love your E&E&F peapod - do you still have the chart and would you be interested in lending it?

Oh my gosh. Wow. Like, seriously, wow. I have been suffering from a serious case of blogging and stitching mojo. As in, should I pack away all my stitching stuff and shut down my blog type loss of mojo. I am trying to get back into blogging because I miss my friends but shedang. Seeing your blog and all of your stitching makes me realize two things. 1--It has been awhile since I stalked you. 2--Maybe the love for stitching hasn't died within me just yet. I hope. Faye did such gorgeous work and all of your finishes and framing--oh. my. gosh.

Congrats on the family additions, particularly the two legged variety! Your DIL is gorgeous and your new DGD is adorable. I hope the happy couple celebrates many years of happiness together.

Wow I haven't been in your blog for awhile but you sure have some gorgeous finishes here!! So so pretty Andrea! I am glad to know I am not alone with the finishing. I want to learn but am not good at it. Wish someone would have a class or something.
