sing us a song...

...you're the Piano Man!

Due to a really amazing connection I have, my DH and I are going to see Billy Joel tonight, Here!!

Taking the DART Rail directly there, Platinum seating and did I mention, um, totally FREE?!

Merry Christmas to us! Yee-Haw!!

(I'm just a wee bit excited, can you tell)?

Alrighty then...another framed finish to share (sorry Trisha, girlfriend is right, I'm so, so pokey lately, dang that job, that family and definitely that PUG! But I really do still stitch, stay tuned!)

It's my Counting Magpies, by Birds of a Feather. I stitched it over 2 on 36 ct. Meadowlark, with one strand of WDW. It was a lot of fun to stitch :)

I love your Counting Magpies sampler! This is going to be one of my first projects for 2008, and it's nice to see a finished sampler. So pretty!

Enjoy Billy Joel. Wow, you and your husband must have been a good little boy and girl this year! I have always loved his voice. I am very jealous!

Billy Joel is amazing!! Enjoy the show! Love the magpies finish! I've definitely developed an affinity for designs with primitive birds, and I may end up doing this one yet.

Oh gosh Jackie, it was WONDERFUL!! He was just great!!
We're decorating for the holiday today but soon as we're done, hopefully I can post about it...we didn't get any good pictures, our cell phones suck and we didn't think they'd allow cameras so we didn't bring ours. All that to say, we didn't get very good pics :(
But it was great all the same!
