no good, rotten frame of mind

Such happy title, dontcha think? Makes you want to run away from here quick like, right?
Oy. But it's true and I'm sorry, I have to vent! Here's my day, in no particular order....
**my shoulder hurts like h*ll and I haven't even stitched in four days.
not. one. stitch.
**took my 30% off everything coupon to Kohls, prepared to do major damage, but discovered, much to my horror, that absolutely everything I tried on was just wrong. Horribly, horribly wrong. Who designs clothes for "full figured", (ok, FAT), women anyway? (Someday I hope they pay). Meanwhile, I brought home three things, two of which are questionable.
**some gal waltzed out of the dressing room I was using (in between taking things back and forth), leaving both things she tried on LAYING THE FLOOR!! And the hangers on the hook, empty. I was again, horrified...
**someone pooped outside the front door of my workplace. Yes, pooped. And no, it wasn't doggie poo. Guess they couldn't hold it any longer?
**a rookie coworker thinks they know more than everyone there and yet, she makes the same stupid mistakes over and over again and admits, "every day is a new day" to her...so why the constant arguing???
** edited **

OK, rant over, sorry about that...here's something cute....

It's an old Bent Creek kit that I stitched forever ago and just needed to sew the buttons on the corners. Not sure it was done right, but I got tired of seeing it in the closet, waiting, so there it is :-)

Thanks for your thoughts on the angel Hornbook. Found a cute easel at the WalMarts yesterday that I'm going to put her on!

Awww, sorry you've had a crappy day - and even worse that you've not been able to stitch for four days. I hope things get better soon.

That's a very cute bunny cushion!

Not being able to stitch for four days in a row, now this is not very pleasant. I hope that this kind of days are over for you.
I love your little finish, the bunny, the fabric, the buttons, everything looks so adorable together.

I can relate to that shoulder pain and then not being able to stitch, and the doggie part, tell me all about it!! Since I have switched all my bulldogs to raw feeding I have not seen the vet in 8 months. 95% of all the health issues our animals have come from kibble. So, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Even my oldest bulldog nearly 11 is thriving on raw feeding and has a new lease on life. Its good to vent sometimes.

Not being able to put in a stitch for four days would have me in a bad frame of mind! When it rains it pours as the old saying goes, and don't you just hate when this happens? I do. Feel better soon Andrea.

I love your bunny, and I love your angel too. You do such gorgeous needlework!

A Happy Dance for the Bunny (it is very cute and I love the way it is finished). I am sorry to read about your troubles - maybe the needlework will work its way back in your hand to lighten your mood very soon. For me, when I get this way, I open the stitching magazines and dream of all the possibilities - a great way to escape!
Take care!

No stitching for 4 days makes me cranky, so I can just imagine. The bunny is really cute!

Awww, you need a big fat marguerita and a new BAP! Sorry your day was so bad. And that little bunny is just so sweet!! Go pile up in a chair, throw a pug over your lap and pull out a new project to stitch on. Life DOES settle down to a dull roar with a little boring routine thrown in after a short while. And while you're taking charge of your domain, put some of that slave labor, that's been hanging out at your house, to work in the kitchen to make you & the DH a romantic dinner tonight.

OK, I was FINE until the poop. Then I had to LOL at your horrible week. We had a "mystery crapper" at a place I worked at too. It WAS in the bathroom, but alas, not in the potty. OY! Your Bent Creek looks cute anyway! Hopefully it's all up from here. It HAS to be!

***big hugs*** I hope the rest of your week is better.

Shovel that poop underneath the money tree. Perhaps it just needs fertilizer???
