split personality (& a giveaway)

Yep, Terri was right when she guessed that I was referring to a tombstone sampler in my last post!

While I love the cute, with Shepherd's Bush, etc. (not to mention my love for Mary Engelbreit), I am drawn to the dark side...

and this little design from The Primitive Needle features one of my favorite tombie sayings

I stitched this little sampler on 36 ct. PTP Ale linen over two with one strand WDW Onyx....a very enjoyable stitch!

Any other morbid fans out there? If you'd like to have this little chart, AND a beeswax tombstone angel ornament (like the one pictured here) of your very own

just let me know on this post and I'll have a drawing on Saturday, the 27th, for a winner! And if you want to stitch it with the WDW Onyx, let me know that as well, and I'll include it with the prizes :-) Let your tombie friends know, they can enter their names too!

Andrea, you surprise me lol!! I can just picture your Halloween outfit. Ok, seriously, this one is a tad too dark for my sampler wall but I admire your pretty stitching all the same.

I to am a morbid fan! For my birthday this year I bought 4 or 5 tombstone patterns from Carriage House Samplings and Plum Street Samplers. I'm actually working on "Carolina Handley" right now :) I would love to win this chart. It would make a wonderful addition to my collection.

Please count me in Andrea, I am a tombie fanatic, just finishing off Sarah Hook. I am planning on hanging them in my bathroom, that should give visitors something to thonk about. Love the wax angel too.

Oh, I love that saying, please count me in for the chart, the tombstone angel (if she can fly across the ocean) and the WDW Onyx thread.
As a child I've lived across the road of a very old graveyard and when the cat wasn't home at night I used to climb over the wall to get him.
My favorite grave was that of a woman called Angelina.
;o)

Thanks for the oportunity to win, and you made a lovely stiching.
:o)

Please enter me into your draw. I have only just discovered tombstome angels and LOVE them. There are 4 graves with them on in my local graveyard, one even has a skull and some crossed bones too.
Thank you
