Mockingbird

Just finished this one up last night, it had been a WIP for a while...

Design is from La D Da, stitched on 36 ct. Daily Grind over 2 with one strand NPI silk.

I changed the leaves and stems to a moss green...it called for the same silk color as the body of the bird, and I just liked the green better :)

I just love the whole series of nursery rhyme songs that she has out, next up, "Mares Eat Oats", but first I have an Ewe & Eye & Friends stitch along to participate in...

for that I am working on Pansy Basket, which has been in my stash forever! It feels good to be working on it!

Happy Birthday Andrea!

This is beautiful, and I think you chose a very pretty color of green. I also love La-D-Da's nursery rhymes, but I haven't seen this one for some reason. You have done such a pretty stitching job!

Enjoy your Ewe & Eye & Friends stitch along!
