staying up late...

...struggling with this blog! Pictures aren't loading right and heaven knows if I start messing around with things, it's only going to get worse! Someday I will figure out how to widen my margins and load bigger and better pictures, and make things prettier around here, but y'all probably shouldn't wait up for it! Ha!

Thanks for laughing along with me on the CHS chart I already had! Turns out that post was appropriately titled...as in...I need all kinds of help, maybe even professional, LOL! Oh well. You know your stash is a wee bit too big when you don't even know what's in it. But at least I'm in good company! wink wink!

So anyway, here's some pics of things I managed to get uploaded tonight this morning...

Have I posted this here before? I can't really remember. It's an oldie from Lizzie Kate called Fall Y'all...one of my favorites that's been in my home for over ten years now. Love bringing it out every fall :) The flash kind of distorts the color of the fabric, but I couldn't get a good picture without it.

Finished up this...

Hallow Sampler by The Primitive Needle

Stitched on 32 count PTP Dill with recommended WDW threads.

And I finished stitching up a friends Christmas gift...

Hooked Rabbit Pincushion by The Goode Huswife
36 ct. Vintage Pearled Barley w/2 strands WDW threads

It's a little big for a pincushion, so we're going to discuss the options...it's not a surprise to her as you may have guessed, maybe next year I'll try to keep it a secret ;-)
Guess I'll close for now, since it's almost 3 am! Yikes! Will try posting more pics later this week as I have a lot more to share! Hope you'll come back!
PS. Muttley had another good checkup but the Cone is still on, just to be safe...
he seems to think it's a part of his own head now, so no worries ;-)

Oh can I relate to the blog problems. As a new bloggger almost everything that I do takes deep thought! I find comfort in knowing that someone else is up before the crack of dawn...fiddling with their page....anyway, your blog always looks great. The pictures are lovely....thanks for the early morn company.

Love your finishes especially teh Hallow Sampler and cute gift for your friend.

Yep I'm having blogger problems too getting photos uploaded. I have to do them one by one whereas before I could do them all at once and still place them where I wanted! I like blogger though so don't want to move anywhere else.

Oh I love all your pieces! They're all so great! Hope you figure out what's causing the picture upload problem. As for poor Mutley -- well, I'm glad he's used to the cone of shame! Hope he gets it off soon! lol!

My kids tease me--"Oh no, Mom's doing a blog post! We can't make any noise for three hours.". LOL Sad but true. I LOVE your blog!!

GREAT job on your Hallow sampler! I love it. I have all those PN samplers and want to stitch them and make little pillows to display seasonally with them. Love the gift you did for your friend, too! I have that Happy Fall Y'All as a UFO somewhere... yours looks great!

Ohhhhhh, I love that little scarecrow! Just adorable! I think your pictures look great the way they are. So good to hear Muttley has adjusted. I can't wait to see what he acts like when the cone comes off.

Enjoy your fall piece! Fun that you have used it to decorate for so long!

Nice finishes, but your finishes always are! I love that Halloween Sampler!

These are all so pretty! The Hallow is gorgeous, and the dill linen is awesome. Any color named Dill is bound to be!
FYI, Blogger is in the process of removing the older version, thereby forcing everyone to switch to the newer version. I bet this is why so many bloggers are having troubles right now with posting and photos.

Love your Primitive Needle piece. I have that in my stash and now I need to go find it:)))

The Lizzie Kate is an oldie but a goodie. Isn't it fun to pull out seasonal pieces each year?

Glad your little pup is doing better.

Thanks for sharing.

Cute LK piece. The Hallow Sampler is so cute. I'm rather partial to that cat. (At least I think it's a cat).

I haven't bought the same chart twice, but books? I'm got duplicates of tons of them, mostly because I think I got it from the public library and want a copy of my own only to find I own it!

Andrea....as always you never cease to make me smile and entertain me with your special posts..and your lovely blog...why do you want to make it even prettier??? I love it the way it is...I digress...

Love that LK piece, you are right it is fabulous, one of those timeless fun pieces, that we all love. Thanks for sharing yours. Also love your new finish and especially your finish for your special Christmas giftie, that is so pretty!!!

Right now I am admiring your Pumpkin Blossom Needlecase in your side bar, that is so gorgeous, and of course one that I never was able to add to my stash...sigh...like I need something else anyway. You know how it is, always coveting what we don't have, shame on me. Just wanted to let you know, it is being coveted! LOL

Have a great week!!

Your finishes are wonderful--especially love the Hallow Sampler. May just have to add that to my shopping list :)

Love the Primitive piece!!! It's darling. :)

If you figure out how to make the margins wider you deserve a medal because I sure can't figure it out. lol

This is a happy post, I can tell. : ) Just look how that scarecrow is smiling! I would keep him around all year round. Primitive Needle is also one of my favourite designer's. That cat sure has a wicked smile. Lovely finish Andrea. The rabbit sure looks great too. Your friend is going to be thrilled.

Love your Hallow Sampler finish! This just makes me want to go pull that chart out of my stash and start stitching it! Great rabbit finish, looking forward to see what you come up with for it.

I hear you on the blog thing and changing it around. I'm still trying to figure out basics without attempting major changes! lol!!

Your finishes are just beautiful Andrea.
Blogger has been giving me nightmares this week. It just wouldn;t let me upload more than one photo and the help forum is just useless.
