Noah Stocking

This was finished up last fall, so don't go thinkin' I'm such a fast stitcher, lol!

After I saw Siobhan's finish last year, and then my friend Patti's stocking in person, it was a "have to stitch this asap" project.

Don't you just love how other stitchers keep us inspired?!

This is a Carriage House Samplings design, stitched on 40 ct. Lentil linen from Lakeside, and with DMC threads...

and as always, (....) did the finishing on this for me...

I'm so thankful for my stitching pals, who keep my needle moving, whether it's a blog post, a finishing album, or seeing something in person, if it weren't for my friends, I'd probably stitch a LOT less and just collect stash...which is always a good thing too, I'm just sayin' :-)

Oh I love it, but that's no big surprise is it what with the way I love all things Noah. Your stitching is beautiful and Deb did a lovely job with the finishing.

Oh, lovely! I just can't get over how pretty these CHS stockings are. I may have to stitch one up sooner rather than later. Although, maybe not this one (cute as it is), since that's my Ex's name.

You're absolutely right, it is great to be inspired by so many people. And now I'm sure *you* have inspired quite a few people to start this one, because it's truly beautiful.

Your Noah stocking is fabulous! I know what you mean about being inspired to keep that needle flying by all our stitching friends that post lovely snaps of their finishes.

The stitching community is a wonderful thing.

Okay, I *KNOW* that I already commented on this post! I probably messed up some how and e-mailed you or some other bizarre thing. First, I love the new blog look! That Mother Theresa quote is wonderful. Your Noah stocking is FABULOUS! Deb's finishing rocks your beautiful stitching. I wholeheartedly agree with what everybody has said--you are a huge inspiration to me. I was your stalker way before I knew you, because I've always loved what you stitch and would drool over your albums. Now I get to call you my friend--talk about bonanza time for a stalker!! LOL ;)

That stocking is GORGEOUS Andrea. I love the Peacocks next to Noah. The blackbird design border is also to die for and your friendship sampler looks lovely. All beautiful projects.
