Here's what I've been working on the past week or so, and managed to finish up the other night...
The design is from With thy Needle & Thread, and is called Mary's Best Handework
it is stitched on 30 count WDW Parchment linen with DMC threads, two over two, and measures around 9.5 by 12.5 inches...
a very enjoyable stitch!
I loved the reds in this the most, followed by the sheep in the grass and the little doggie. (WHICH, by the way, I noticed after I posted this.....is TAIL-LESS!!!! OMG! So, I will have to go back and fix it, because seriously, TAIL-LESS???? No way. Click here to see how he should look!)
I'd love to pass along the chart, which has been gently used of course ;-)
If you'd like to have it, let me know and I'll draw a name for it next Wednesday, May 5th.
Have a great weekend y'all!
Oh, and for those of you wondering, the rosemary plant is still alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Andrea, I thot I left a comment saying I would love to have this in my living room too. Red is one of my favorite colors and this is a beautiful sampler. Great job on your part. Thanks for sharing the chart. pj

How beautiful!!!!! I love it! Congrats on the finish! I already have the chart so don't enter me in your giveaway. I just had to comment and tell you it's wonderful. :D

Just beautiful Andrea!! I think the dog is unique...being tail-less that is. Some dogs don't have tails. Whatever you decide to do, it is still a "perfect" piece. I would love it if you would toss my name in the hat for a chance. Congrats on a nice finish! Smiles....
I love the reds in the Mary sampler, too. Would love a chance to win it,too.

Have a wonderful weekend.
This just turned out so pretty. I love this chart, I bought it a few weeks back so no need to enter me in the drawing. I can't wait to stitch it, now that I have seen how gorgeous yours is I may have to start this weekend. XOXO
I don't know how I missed this post but I would most certainly love to have my name thrown in the draw!
P.S. - I like the doggie much better with a tail!!
Andrea, such a beautiful sampler--I actually own a tailless dog, but this little doggie looks happier with his tail!
Please enter me into the drawing.
Isn't it funny how we notice our stitching mistakes AFTER we've posted them? I did the same thing a couple weeks ago...
I'd love to be entered into the drawing, too. Thanks so much :)
I'm so glad you gave your puppy a tail. Now he can be really happy! It's a good lesson for all of us--
Wag more...bark less.
I'd love to win your drawing, please enter me. ~Kathleen
Sorry this comment is so late... for some reason I can't post comments to our blog from my phone... I'll figure it out though!
Anywho, yes, please enter me for the drawing for this chart! Awesome awesome finish!!! And yes, your little dog looks much happier with his tail. :)
YGG on the finish!!!
I love this design - and you did a beautiful job with it. And despite what your husband said -- good thing you added the dog's tail.
Please include me in your drawing for the pattern.
Many thanks,
Sharon
Wow Andrea, I love this chart and you have finished it beautifully . I've never seen this chart before but it sums up all the things about cross stitching that I love.
I know I've been lucky once and don't expect to be that fortunate again but please enter me for your draw anyway :>)
Like you I would definitely have had to give that little sweetie a tail :>)
