Lo, How A Rose Sampler

Finally finished this up yesterday. Despite my initial issues with the colors, I'm happy with how it turned out.

At first I was not fond of the darkness in the thread that most of the letters were stitched in, which was Weeks Dye Works "London Fog".

Some of the other letters were stitched in Pebble, Tin Roof, Amber and Gold.

Lo, How a Rose Sampler by Bright Needle
Stitched with recommended WDW threads
on 32 ct. cream Belfast linen

Now I get to either pick out a new project from my stash to start on OR pick out any one of my many WIP's to finish up. What to do....what to do??!!

As always, another fantastic finish. It's beautiful! I was able to track down the book... so someday I'll have this design stitched too.

Hmmm... why limit yourself.. start a new project and pull out a WIP... do a mini rotation.

Oh, what a gorgeous finish!! London Fog is an unusual color, I've used it several times in pieces and never really care for it ;)

You did a great job! I love it!! I have this book and have always wanted to stitch this. Another one to add to my pile (which is growing and growing!!)

I agree with Laurie, do both! Pick a favorite and have fun!

A gorgeous sampler Andrea, and I love the colors! I can't wait to see this finished - framed or a pillow? Or, something else you have in mind.

Whatever you decide, new project or WIP, have fun looking through everything to make a decision!

Thanks for your email, Andrea! This really did turn out beautifully, I'm sure you are glad you persevered. Looking at your's, I think it is my fabric choice more than anything that's not working. The colors are too light and pink for the darker tan I chose. Your's looks just right, though!

Have fun picking out your next project!

Wow - that is gorgeous! Congrats on the finish!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I figured you were talking about 'selling' in Canton.
Tyler isn't really small anymore. That is where we go to do 'major' shopping and let me tell you, the traffic sucks.

Gorgeous! I would really love to stitch this someday, but I'll have to track down the book first - I hear it's hard to come by. I love how yours turned out!

What a beautiful finish!!! Congratulions on this one it's beautiful.
Maybe you should start a small one and pick a WIP and switch from time to time between them...
